Hola - I am finally back from South America

Hi guys, a quick post to say hello and to let you know that I am back from South America. I am happy that the trip went mostly well, it was tiring of course but I got to see and do some much and obviously have loads of stories to tell you. I will be writing a series entitled "Mi historias de viajes" (Spanish: my travel stories) and sharing so many special insights I have gleamed from traveling across South America - from the Atlantic ocean in Montevideo to the Pacific ocean in Valparaiso. You can of course see all of my photos and videos from this trip on my Instragram of course. There's so much to cover: from making friends with the locals to dealing with both honest and dishonest people in Chile and learning whom to trust to the Chinese community in South America to the Indigenous populations there to the mix of languages used on this trip to the (really, really bad) food there. I only just got home at lunchtime today after an overnight flight from Santiago and despite getting upgraded to premium economy, I still didn't sleep much and I slept for 5 hours this afternoon. I am zonked out, jet lagged and need to do some work but really all I want to do right now is go back to sleep.
I'm going up to Scotland tomorrow morning - my mother in law's funeral is on Friday, so we're arriving on Thursday, dealing with the funeral all day on Friday and returning to London on Saturday. I had barely unpacked but I am now going to have to pack again. Hence the mi historias de viajes series will begin next week when life gets back to normal. 27 days on the road, 4 countries and this was one massive adventure, I have so much to tell you, so much I would like to share with you. Hence until then, I hope all is well with you guys and catch you all next week. Many thanks for reading.

    1. Absolutely Di - blogging is therapeutic. First I need to talk about my mother in law's funeral in my next post.
