Q&A: What Does A Weaker Pound Mean?

Hi guys. My latest article is out on Singapore Daily: it is a Q&A on what a weaker pound means. The referendum was back in June, yet the exchange rate is still far from stable - what is going on? All shall be answered in my Q&A, all shall be revealed. I know I condemn those who voted for Brexit - but let me just remind you that it was a very close call: 52% - 48% but that only shows you how divided British society is. Using Brexit to drive out EU migrant workers is like setting fire to your sofa to force unwanted guests to leave your party, yes it will achieve the effect but you've got to still live in that burnt down living room after those guests eventually leave. Hardly worth it, was it? Duh. Many thanks for reading.

  1. Also, Eurosceptic politicians in Eastern Europe are the most vocal opponents of Brexit - as they are afraid of seeing their fellow Hungarians, Polish, etc. being kicked out of Britain.

They despise immigrants, but still want the U.K. to keep welcoming foreign workers: the irony...

    1. However, our membership of the EU is a lot more than just the issue of immigration - it is so wrong that the whole issue of Brexit has become about immigration.

    2. Indeed - however, many media outlets only focus on controversial news, and they miss the other side of the coin - for example, the government of Basilicata, in Southern Italy, has asked for more refugees: far from causing trouble, they are helping revitalize a poor and scarcely populated area: and EU funds can help both Italians and foreigners to build new businesses, for example.

But most newspapers won't mention it...
