Limpeh is off to Indonesia besok

Hi guys, listen I am off to Indonesia tomorrow. I have been so crazy busy in Singapore that I have not been able to blog much. I do have a draft for the Alvin Tan story which is based on the conversations I have had with my Malaysian friends, but what do you know Alvin Tan has been granted bail so I have spoken to Alvin briefly yesterday and he's being very... polite and calm about the whole situation and I just hope that he is okay (well, there's nothing to suggest otherwise for now). He even apologized for standing me up in KL because he was in jail and I was like, oh please I was so worried about you, there's nothing to apologize about lah.

Anyway, I will follow up when I get back from Indonesia and there'll be plenty of photos on the way. My parents do not have wifi at their Ang Mo Kio home (yes they live in the dark ages) and it is just as well lah, cos I am talking to my parents instead of being on the internet all night. Let's just say I have been on my best behavior and so have my parents - and it's been pleasant enough despite me resisting the urge to argue with them on a number of occasions (don't get me started on those - I just had to bite my tongue). I am having to lug the MacBook to my sister's to use her wifi in order to blog, but I have been busy seeing friends, doing touristy stuff, diving at Farrer Park pool etc. I even had a swim at the Sail @ Marina Bay but failed to spot Eduardo Saverin at the pool and gym - ah well. I thought he lived there?

Anyway, ciao for now. I have this early flight to Yogyakarta tomorrow, jumpa laaagggiiiii.
