Christmas travel plans & 2013

I have just booked my train tickets, I am going up to Scotland for Christmas and will be leaving on the 20th December, back on the 27th December. Probably won't be blogging as much whilst I am there but will be happy to interact with my readers via the comments on the existing articles.

I have also confirmed today that I will be doing a play in January to March 2013, click here for more info on the play No, it will not affect my work as I will be there approximately 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm each night, so it's like an evening job but goodness me what a fun evening job it will be in one of London's most beautiful venues. We're not talking about some crappy community theatre group here, we're talking about a very well funded professional company who have huge budgets and can secure good venues e for their shows. To be able to work with a professional company (for pretty good money) like that and still hold down my job in finance,  I am incredibly lucky indeed. It is the opportunity of a lifetime to do something radically different and fun! What a way to start the new year.

I told my boss about it this afternoon, assuring him that it's an evening thing (apart from the rehearsals) and it wouldn't affect my work during office hours. He replied, "It sounds amazing, I am going to buy tickets for everyone in the company and we'll all come and watch." I ask you, do you know how hard it is to find a boss like that? Happy holidays everyone. What are you doing for Christmas? Let me know, leave a comment. Thanks.
Christmas time in London
