It is very interesting that the most popular article of the year along with the one at no. 4 on this list were both posted barely a week ago and they have had far more hits than those which have been around since January this year. I know not everyone agrees with me on my take on the issue of the Rohingya refugees, but I am glad that people are at least reading my blog and are taking an interest in the issue - rather than sweeping it under the carpet.

And finally, here is a list of the top 10 hottest topics on my blog this year. Obviously, when there are several posts on the same topic, the hits will be added together and I am looking at the statistics on the 19th December. Obviously, any statistics are going to be dated by the time you finally read this - but this list will still give us an idea what my readers (aka LIFTers) were most interested in this year! This has been calculated based on the number of hits over all the articles dealing with the same issue this year.
1 Foreign Talents in Singapore
2. Sun Ho, Kong Hee & CHC
3. Love & relationships in Singapore
4. Fashion
5. Rohingya Refugees refused entry into Singapore
6. Alvin Tan & the Alvivi saga
7. National Service in Singapore
8. 2012 London Olympics
9. Diner en fiasco
10. Student life & education
Whilst I tend to react to current affairs as a social commentator, look at that - no. 3 and no. 4 - love and fashion. Ooh la la, Limpeh is not just a fashion icon but also a love guru. 2.25 million hits so far on my blog, when am I going to attract my first corporate sponsor?! Happy holidays everyone and best wishes for a great 2013.
