2013 Snow-blading in St Anton Austria photos

Okay, finally I am uploading the photos from my skiing snow blading trip to St Anton this year. I have already uploaded the videos here - but here are the rest of the photos as promised. I adore skiing in Austria and you can also see the photos from last year (I was skiing in Innsbruck) here.  I skiied not just in St Anton, but also in Lech, Zurs, Stuben, Alpe Rauz, Reindl and St Christoph. Yes I look fat in the photos but under that many layers of winter clothing, even Kate Moss would look fat. But hey, we're amongst friends here, I hope...This was from early April. I hope you like the photos!

  1. Wow you're sure having fun!

Btw I've mentioned your blog in my blog in this post:

    http://anyhowhantam.blogspot.sg/2013/04/some-forums-and-blogs-i-follow.html

Not that your blog needs the advertising, it's already hugely popular and has a readership that I can only dream off, but it's just my way of showing appreciation.

Btw the reason I posted that article was because of a request from a friend to garner more members for his forum. Your expertise and knowledge would be most welcome there I'm sure, if of course you have the time, as I realise you have many things on your plate as it is. Here's the addy:

    1. Hi and thanks for your message.

Sorry but I know all about EDMW - it's full of Singaporeans who post these one-liners in broken English and the threads run on and on because of all these super bo-liao one-liners. No point lah, it's just like ... I'd rather interact with fewer people who have more to say, on my blog as they take the time to read what I write and react properly, rather with Singlish one-liners that say nothing and go nowhere.

So tell your friend I'm sorry, clearly EDMW is popular amongst Singaporeans, but it's not the kind of audience I would want to interact with on the basis that nobody reads/write anything at length and it's all one-liners - that creates a very shallow kind of interaction.

    2. Haha okay no worries, yeah it's true sometimes I too find it hard to switch from common daily speak there to proper words in my blog or elsewhere, sometimes subconsciously 1 ends up typing with 1 liners or Singlish eslwewhere

    3. No lah, it's not that Limpeh has anything against Singlish lah - as long as people take the time to read, think and write a decent response, I don't care what language they use: Singlish, Malay, Hokkien, Mandarin etc - but it is the nature of the 'one-liners' which irk me no end, like what's the point in joining in the conversation if you have that little to say? It's for people who have very little patience, v short attention span and that's not me lah.
