007: Road To A Million Season 2 featuring yours truly.

Hello everyone. After many months of waiting, I am truly delighted to finally be able to share this with you: I am one of the contestants on season 2 of 007: Road To A Million. As you can tell from the amount of content on this blog about programmes like The Amazing Race, I am a huge fan of this genre of competitive reality TV so it has been really a dream come true for someone like me to finally get on a show like that after having watched programmes like these for the last two decades. After all, for so many years, I've judged these contestants from the comfort of my armchair at home, saying, "meh I can do so much better just give me a chance, cast me in one of these shows and I'll show you." Finally, I have the opportunity and now you get to judge how I perform in this process. Obviously, I'm still bounded by my NDA and I can't reveal any more than what is on the official press release from Amazon Prime but you can expect a lot more content from them in the coming weeks in the run up to the official release of the show on the 22nd August. I will in due course be talking more about my experience there as being immortalized in the 007 James Bond franchise has been such an epic adventure but for now, here is the press release from Amazon Prime below in case you don't already know this show. 

The adventure series sees eight pairs of contestants compete for £1 million. The 007-inspired game show 007: Road To A Million is returning for series 2 on Prime Video globally later this summer. The bold and ambitious second series of the reality competition returns on 22 August, reinventing the format of series 1. Award-winning actor Brian Cox is back as The Controller, overseeing a new cast of everyday heroes from the UK. This time around, eight pairs of ordinary people embark on a thrilling 007-inspired global adventure which takes them from Bangkok’s Sinn Sathorn Tower to shark-infested waters in the Bahamas. They face epic challenges testing skills and relationships, including facing live scorpions in Thailand, firing guns in an historic Hacienda in Mexico, and braving dizzying Alpine cable cars. The slowest pairs face elimination in the tense Killer Question with only one duo reaching London for a shot at winning £1 million.


007: Road To A Million was commissioned in 2021, before Amazon completed its acquisition of MGM Studios in 2023 and before Amazon MGM Studios acquired creative control of the James Bond film franchise from producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson in 2025. 007: Road To A Million series 2 maintains its authentic Bond DNA with EON Productions' Barbara Broccoli, Michael G. Wilson, and Gregg Wilson returning as executive producers, alongside 72 Films. All eight episodes of 007: Road To A Million series 2 release exclusively on Prime Video on 22 August.
