The OSIRIS-REx Launch at Kennedy Space Center, Cape Canaveral, Florida

Hi guys, here's my next vlog piece for you: I was in Florida recently for the launch of the OSIRIS-REx Space probe at Kennedy Space Center and decided to capture that moment for you on my vlog. Sure you could watch the NASA version of the video on Youtube (which I shall include below for you to compare) but most of you would have only seen such 'official' videos and I wanted to show you what it was like to be there, in person, in the VIP viewing area by Banana Creek, watching a rocket launch. We were 4.8 km away so it wasn't like we were that close - but that's the safest viewing distance. Any closer and you could risk serious injury or death from the heat and intense sound waves.
I am off to Berlin early tomorrow morning (aaargh, 8 am flight, check in before 6:30 am, leave my house by 5:30 am, wake up at 5 am - not gonna get much sleep. I am trying to pump out my Youtube videos from my last trip before my German stint. I will still have at least three videos (Punta Cana, Santo Domingo and Lake Panasoffkee) to edit and upload for my vlog and hopefully, I shall find time to do that soon as those places were magical. I am only going to be Berlin and Potsdam for two days (flying out Monday morning, flying back Tuesday night) so I am not sure if I will shoot a video there as I will be back there for a longer stint in November. Let's see, Berlin is definitely one of my favourite cities in Europe and I do want to share my experience there with you. But for now, enjoy this rocket launch video.
