LIFT Vlog Episode 63: The tour of my new home
Hi guys, it is 3:50 am and I am still packing can you believe it - no, I am not a well-organized person at all. Moving house is probably one of the most traumatic experiences one can ever go through, having to pack everything you own from the food in the kitchen to all your clothes, books, computer stuff , plants, toileteries etc. The truck arrives at 10 am to take it all to the new place. Good grief, I am in a total daze now. But for now, here's a quick tour of the new place for you. Wish me luck with the move - the next few hours are gonna be a blur. Many thanks for reading and watching.
Nice huge house, I'm envious! Getting a 2 room HDB soon (still being built though) and it is probably going to a third or quarter the size of your main living room.
ReplyDeleteCheers mate. It is unusual compared to a 2 room HDB flat as HDB flats are usually all on one level but i have so much stairs. I climb up one floor from the street entrance, I unlock my front door, I climb up one floor to the bedrooms, then up another floor to the living room/kitchen, then one more flight to the roof garden. It's a weird upside down house: most people have houses that start with the garden, then you get to the kitchen, living room then finally right at the top are the bedrooms. Go figure.
DeleteSo I have 4 floors to climb by stairs, but I am planning to line the stairs with art and plants, to brighten up the stairwell. I figure if I am gonna spend so much time climbing stairs, I may as well make the stairs pretty!!
DeleteUnique and beautiful place! Gratz!!
ReplyDeleteMany thanks!
DeleteLove it! Such huge expanse of space. You are gonna need intercom to call peeps from one floor to another, or a really large bell, like calling for the butler!!
ReplyDeleteYes Vanessa, that's what mobile phones are for!
