Going off the beaten track, visiting smaller towns

Hi guys, I realized that I had been traveling so much of late that I had neglected my travel writing! So here's the latest piece of my travel writing on Alvinology on the topic of going off the beaten track and visiting smaller towns. This reflects that my last few trips to Indonesia, Brunei, Italy, Slovenia, Slovakia, Ireland, Scotland and Spain have all been to quite small towns and the last big city with over a million people I had visited was in fact Singapore. Visiting small towns gives you a totally different travel experience compared to big cities - so here's to visiting small towns and the countryside. It is one aspect of traveling that is very rewarding indeed and that I really enjoy. Many thanks for reading.
