LIFT Vlog Episode 52: The Slovenian Coast

Hi guys, zdravo! Here's the second of two vlogs from my recent trip - this time featuring the beautiful Slovenian coast which I visited very recently. I shot this in a day and visited Koper and Izola - I got the first bus from Trieste to Koper and got the last bus back, I didn't actually spend the night in Slovenia but in hindsight, I really should have given how much cheaper things were in Slovenia compared to Italy. Here's a simple example: a 500 ml bottle of a soft drink would cost you about 2.40 euros in Italy, in Slovenia it is just 1.20 euros. Half price, you get the idea. However, my flight was to FVG Trieste airport that was 65 km from Koper so I decided to base myself in Trieste instead which was probably the more sensible thing to do logistically but turned out to be more expensive (but I managed to use my AirBNB credits anyway for my lodging). This is my second trip to Slovenia and I love this small, pretty, charming little country - with a population of just 2.04 million, it is has less than half the population of Singapore but you have everything from majestic snow capped mountains to stunning golden beaches there. Many thanks for watching, hvala!
