How to enjoy sightseeing without punishing your feet

Hi guys, my latest piece of travel writing is up on Alvinology. It is inspired by my recent trip to Italy and Slovenia - given that I am out for about 13 hours a day when on holiday , I calculated that I walked over 20 km a day (and that is a conservative estimate) when on holiday. Now I barely walk one km on most days given that I am a cyclist and cycling is a lot more efficient than walking - so when I spend that many hours walking, well my feet ache a lot as I am just not used to this much walking. I checked in with another friend Michael who has also just returned from another long holiday and he is suffering just like me, for the very same reasons! So with this in mind, I hope this article will help you minimize the trauma to your feet as you make the most of your sightseeing on holiday! Many thanks for reading, ciao!
Ciao from Trieste, Italy
