Tourism Q&A: crisis in Greece & Tunisia

My latest piece of travel writing is now up on the Alvinology website. I looked at the crisis in Greece and Tunisia affecting the tourism sector there: Tunisia is facing a bleak summer season after the horrific terrorist attack in Sousse whilst people are feeling nervous about Greek as it faces an exit from the Eurozone with its economy in ruins. What will be the impact on the tourism sector in these countries? Of course, it's a huge topic that I can't do justice too, thus I focused on just the implications for tourists thinking of visiting Greece and/or Tunisia this year. And, I've booked my flights to Singapore. I shall be in Singapore for 3 weeks - flying via Brunei and staying 2 days in Bandar Seri Begawan on the way back. I've got a packed schedule in Singapore which includes some travel writing work, it is all very exciting and I shall give you more details closer to mid-August when I arrive.     What do you plan to do in Singapore, other than shopping, eating, and visiting family and friends, especially since it is such a long period at 3 weeks? Do you have plans to go anywhere?

      Hi Kev, list of things to do:

      1. Lasik surgery
      2. Doing some work for Alvinology (that's the fun part).
      3. Possibly doing a short trip to KL or somewhere in M'sia

      That's it for now. I'm not supposed to do too much active stuff immediately after my Lasik surgery, so I don't dare to book anything too ambitious.
