Hi all, given that we're now into April, I am thrilled to announce that March 2012 has been the most successful month to do, with a total of 120,625 hits in that month - which is almost double of what I received in January 2012. I must be doing something right to attract all the readers :) To be honest, I was hoping to break the 100,000 hits barrier for the month, but to hit 120k was beyond my expectations.
I am also very pleased to tell you that the ratio of Singaporean readers vs international readers currently stands at 63% Singapore 37% international since launch and it stands at 56% Singapore 44% international in the month of March. One can interpret the data two ways since I did cover some very uniquely Singaporean issues in the month of March. Either my international readership is using my blog to find information on Singapore - or this 44% are reading my other articles dedicated to non-Singapore issues (food, fashion, travel, money, relationships, education etc). In any case, I am so glad you're reading my blog - thank you very much to all my readers!
Or your blog is being read by Singaporeans abroad :P
ReplyDeleteIs the S'porean diaspora that big?
DeleteA former Singaporean who lives abroad is surprised that many Singaporeans who live abroad read his blog? I don't think it's about the Singaporean diaspora being big, but more about you attracting well, similar-ish Singaporeans here.
DeleteEither way, I am pleased that people are reading my blog. I just didn't think that the S'porean diaspora is that big. For instance, I've met far more Malaysians in the UK than S'poreans - why? It's just statistics really. Cos there're more Malaysians to begin with than S'poreans per se, so extrapolate that into any criteria you want, eg. "_____ living in the UK" for example. Wherever you are, whoever you are, I am v happy you are reading Limpeh's blog, thank you.
Deleteor rather oversea malaysians :)
DeleteAnd that too! Limpeh punya bapak yang dari Johor, does that make me half Malaysian?
DeleteCongrats, LIFT!
ReplyDeleteI know it's not an April Fool's/Fish joke, so wishing you continued rising success!
At the same time, you're probably experienced by now with the possibility, that with success comes its own set of problems, including unreasoning, envious people.
But you'll handle them good! :-)
Come on lah, I am not that boliao to make April fool's joke about stuff like that lah.
DeleteAnd definitely not joking about the hate mail - it's just that no one gets to see it, so you think, oh Limpeh's readers like him... erm, that's like half the picture only.
