#FreeMyInternet: Hong Lim Park, 8 June 2013

Hi readers, today I have been asked by another Singaporean blogger to publicize this event which I shall do with pleasure. In light of the new censorship restrictions by the MDA on the internet, there has been a protest organized at Hong Lim Park on the 8th June 2013 from 4 pm to 7 pm. You can follow the event on Twitter at #FreeMyInternet - the world is watching. Actually I doubt that the Singapore government is going to budge on the issue given what the PAP is like, but I am glad at least Singaporeans are doing something about this rather than diam diam bo chu sia.

I mock the fucking pathetic way Singaporean losers call themselves "keyboard warriors" (a term coined on the EDMW forum) - warriors? How fucking pathetic. You have some nerve to use that term when all you are doing is hiding behind a computer anonymously. Show me you have some balls - go to Hong Lim Park on the 8th June and show your faces there, support this movement and make your voices heard. I look at the way Turkish people have bravely stood up to their government this week and thought, would Singaporeans ever have the balls to do so? Will you ever have the balls to stand up for yourselves? This event is certainly a step in the right direction - please support it. Spread the word, please tell your friends on Facebook, GooglePlus and Twitter. Thanks everyone.

PS. I have just had the 2nd most successful month in my blog's history - 293,430 views in May 2013 alone, it was a good month but it was still shy of December 2012's 337,561. Currently I've had over 3.65 million views on my blog so far since I've started. Thanks for reading! Oooh MDA, look at those figures - you can't touch me.

  1. Hi Limpeh,

Have you read "Inferno"? There is a quote that I think applies to all the Singaporeans.

"The darkest places in hell are reserved for those who maintain their neutrality in times of moral crisis." - Dante Alighieri

If only they understand the Inferno they are stepping into ...
